There were a lot of things to be thankful for as the year comes to an end. Experiences, people and ideas that go beyond the usual trivial pursuits that mark  modern times. We have seen our children grow another year, mirrored by the realization of how precious every single second is, as we share a hearty laugh or a random conversation with Bea and Francesca. We certainly had our share of roadblocks at work and in the course of living lives according to our beliefs. But the challenges have given us a better perspective of what really matters. We have come out of everything humbled by our frailties, yet emboldened by the joy that comes from being real and at peace with yourself. The coming year will bring waves of new experiences, people and ideas. Good or bad we will face them together looking only at an audience of One.
