It is common place these days that I forget a lot of things. I’m hopeful that it’s not something medical (Lord save me from the medical bills!) coz at 33 years old, I’m too young to enter my second chilodhood. Sometimes its my wallet ,(This really makes my hair stand! especially when I’m about to pay cab fare!), sometimes its my cel phone (well, this is sometimes a good thing but that’s another story), other times, well just about anything that I just go through the motions of doing, I tend to forget or if its an item, i misplace.(Now where was I ?) Oh! this is about remembering. Friends, us mere mortals are prone to forget, wander and stray off to Lord knows where. Busy lives usually fill us with so much useless clutter, (calling my wife! I hope she can also do some general house cleaning in this head of mine) that we forget what matters most. (errr, sounds like a song’s beginning….BAD!) By that I mean who we are or who we are meant to be. I hope i’m not sounding religous, but let me just put it this way. Try to remember what you loved doing when you were younger. Don’t just go through the motions of aimlessly existing. There is more to this life. You can hold on to precious memories and create wonderful new experiences if you know how to stay in the moment. I’m saying this to myself as much as to anyone else who reads this. Stay in the moment and remember!
